Kinvig socials are a highlight of what makes this society great!

We have regular socials, from pubs, clubs to sober events; they are a fun way to meet people from across GEES and beyond! In September, we have freshers and refreshers events for members, exploring Broad Street clubs. We also have a collaboration pub crawl with other humanity societies called the “Inhumane pub crawl”. This annual event is very popular across all societies and encourages students to meet new people and meet more Kinvig members from beyond their year group. Can’t forget the Halloween pub crawl, encouraging members to dress up and dance the night away during Halloween-week. Finally, we have a Christmas party, hosted in Selly Oak, where we do karaoke, sing-alongs, talent shows, and dance the night away with a buffet and drinks!

Sober socials are sprinkled throughout this term too, with trips to sea life and Winterbourne Garden!
We cant forget our weekly trip to Joes, starting this year, to offer members an opportunity to meet on a regular basis! Consistent socials like these make our society better connected and offers members an opportunity to get to know the committee behind their favourite events!!

Kinvig Ice Skating 25/26

Term 2, after a short Christmas break, is also packed with fun social events! We have pub socials, club nights and even more collabs. A recent and popular collab involved the hiking society, where members joined alongside hiking members on an accessible, shorter route.

The summer season has fun events like our entry into the annual touch-rugby tournament and our Kinvig Abroad holiday, with our latest seeing us fly to Lisbon! Finally, the sought-after summer ball is the core focus of third term, with members from across year groups and sports attending, making it a consistently sold out event!
