Kinvig Netball is a fun and social campus league netball team. We do weekly training sessions on weekday evenings, which generally consist of drills and lots of match play, and we play matches every Sunday in the D2 Sunday League. We host themed Sports Night pres every Wednesday and hold regular sober socials too.
Some highlights of last year’s Semester 1 included friendly matches versus History and MedSoc, the Kinvig Sport Charity Tournament, and the numerous socials arranged around Christmas, including Christmas Dinner, Christmas training, Christmas Sports Night and a Scavenger Hunt. In Semester 2, highlights included winning 23-5 vs Allsorts 1s, a Freshers Friendly Match, a Cadbury World trip and our Final Match followed by the pub and our AGM. The end of the season was marked by our annual Bottomless Brunch and the Kinvig Ball!
We are a friendly team, and we welcome people of all abilities from across the school of GEES and beyond! We look forward to welcoming new members this year!
